Ball Manager is a football manager game where you take charge of your own football club. Your job is to buy and sell players, setup tactics, train your squad, manage your club's economy and much more. The action is shown in the form of 2-D and isometric matches and the competition takes place in a world league as well as in small tournaments between friends, even for prizes.

Ball Manager features full-fledged training systems, upgrade options, a transfer system, the economic side of a club to look after, as well as many options for interaction between managers.

The game has been developed by Planetarium Games, in a partnership with ONEbase and the Portuguese newspaper A BOLA.

Planetarium Football Star (commonly known and referred to as FootStar or FS) is a free online, browser-based football management and role-playing game (MMOG). It can be found at http://www.footstar.org. The game was released exactly two years after the release of PGames' first online game, PManager.

As of right now the game has about 31,000 users and supports 84 different countries in 35 languages. The game is completely free to play, but there's an optional paid account status (FSFan) that gives those users special access to graphical features and stats, the ability to manage a team, amongst other options. No in-game advantages are given, though.

History
FootStar was created in Portugal by PGames developers. The game was originally designed at the beginning of 2006 and the development phase took about 10 months. A first initial version was made available in August for testing purposes. The testing took about 3 months and was made by the developers themselves along with some other staff members from PManager. Footstar was finally released on October 30, 2006 on a beta version status.

Quick Intro
The objective of the game is different from manager to manager. It can be to have one or more players in a national team, to aim for league or cup glory, or simply to achieve stability by raising and training players properly. The user defines its own objectives. However, one can say Planetarium Manager is all about starting from the very bottom and achieving planetarium success.

Newbies can count on the very active forum community to help them out in their first weeks. There's also a fairly complete help archive available and the Admin Team is always ready to answer questions and hear the users' suggestions.

History
Planetarium Manager was created in Portugal, in the beginning of 2002, only available for Portuguese users. In October 2004 the second version of Planetarium Manager was released, already available in English language. It's definitely a challenging long-term planning game as there are actually some managers that play it since the very first version of the game, back in 2002!
